Shabnam Behzad

Hi!

I'm a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at Georgetown University. I'm a member of NERT, Corpling@GU, and GUCL. My advisors are Nathan Schneider and Amir Zeldes. Before Georgetown, I got my BEng in Computer Engineering at Sharif University of Technology.

Broadly, I'm interested in Natural Language Processing and Computational Linguistics. My work is mainly within resources and evaluation. Currently, I'm working on projects related to explanation and feedback generation, LLM applications in education, and approaches for building higher-quality datasets.

I am on the job market for postdoc and industry positions! Please reach out if you know of a role that would be a good fit for me.
